Coming to the Parksville Museum this October, the Mystic Market is a new three-day curated market celebrating all things magical, mystical, whimsical, bizarre, and otherworldly.

We’re looking for artists, makers, authors, mystical service providers, and small businesses offering handmade goods, artwork, curiosities, oddities, spiritual and alternative offerings, and other wonderfully weird and enchanting finds.

Our goal is to create a diverse, welcoming marketplace where visitors can discover local makers and one-of-a-kind treasures. Applications are now open for all three days, with a limited number of single-day spaces also available.

The Mystic Market is a fundraiser for the Parksville Museum, with proceeds supporting our ongoing work, programs, and operations.

The Heritage Gift Gallery is back for its second year, bringing together a special collection of beautifully handcrafted work by talented island artists and makers.

We are currently accepting applications from island artists and makers interested in participating in this year’s Heritage Gift Gallery.

There is no fee to apply. Artists selected for the exhibition will be required to pay a $60 exhibition fee, which helps cover promotional expenses and other costs associated with presenting the show.

The Parksville Museum is a non-profit society, and the Heritage Gift Gallery is part of our annual operational fundraising efforts. By participating in or shopping at the gallery, you’re helping support the Museum while celebrating and showcasing the incredible creativity of artists from across the island.
